Durban (Fixed and open on one side)
The Durban cover offers visual and manual access from one side of the belt without the need to dismantle anything. It protects the belt from rain and wind from one side, while leaving enough space to lift the belt and replace the rollers.
The Belt Conveyor covers Durban Model:
One-sided inspection access: The cover covers the top and one side of the conveyor belt, leaving one side free for maintenance.
Demountable: The Durban cover can be completely removed by loosening the screws, leaving the conveyor belt completely free. Without any structures or obstructions.
Self-supporting: it does not require any structure.
Quick and easy to install: it adapts to practically all conveyor belts.
Directly screw a few 180º covers to the belt conveyor foundation. It is recommended that 40x40mm. steel angles are installed on both sides of the conveyor belt.
Screw the 140º covers on top of the 180º covers using 5.5×22 P16 self-drilling screws.
Stop the belt conveyor before starting the installation.
Necessary tools: electric screwdriver with 8mm socket.
Use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required by law. CAPOTEX recommends the use of gloves, helmet, safety boots, ear protection and welding mask (for steel plate welding only).
