Berlin (Fixed and open on both sides)
The Berlin cover is all about accessibility. This model offers visual and manual access from both sides of the belt without the need to dismantle anything. It protects the belt from rain, while leaving enough space to lift the belt and replace the rollers.
Inspections accesses on both sides: the cover only covers the upper part of the belt, leaving both sides free for maintenance.
Dismountable: the Berlín cover is completely dismountable by loosening the screws, leaving the conveyor belt completely free.
Self-supporting: it does not require any structure.
Quick simple installation: it adapts to practically all conveyor belts.
Directly screw the cover to the conveyor belt frame. It is recommended that 40x40mm. steel angles are installed on both sides of the belt conveyor.
Install the covers alternately, one above and one below, and so on. Do not place them all on top of the previous one, as tiles are installed on a roof.
Stop the belt conveyor before starting the installation.
Necessary tools: Electric screwdriver with 8mm. socket.
Use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required by law. CAPOTEX recommends the use of gloves, helmet, safety boots, ear protection and welding mask (for steel plate welding only).
