Belt conveyor covers Colombia

Project installed in the Port of Santa Marta, Colombia.

The covered belt enters the sea for 1 km to load ships. The covers were tested to withstand marine corrosion and were all manufactured from HPS200.

Capotex also designed and supplied the support structure for the Capoarc and the specially designed side Capoguards, manufactured from trapezoidal sheet metal and foldable thanks to a hinge design unique to this project.

The structure was painted with epoxy paint with a thickness of 200 microns.
